Thickness of Anodizing Film and Polymer Coating

     The thickness of the anodic film refers to the minimum distance between the surface of the anodizing film and the metal substrate, as well as the interface between the treated film. The thickness of the anodizing film and coating is an important and commonly used performance indicator for aluminum alloy anodizing and high polymer coating products.  It not only has a significant impact on the corrosion resistance of aluminum extrusion profile, but also has an impact on the decorative properties of aluminium construction profiles, as well as the impact and bending resistance of coatings.

     In addition, it is also the main factor determining the quality of aluminium profile alloy products. Therefore, special attention needs to be paid during the production process. In the industrial production of aluminum alloy surface treatment, it is difficult to achieve completely consistent film thickness on multiple decorative surfaces of the product, and it is also difficult to achieve exactly the same film thickness in the same area.

     Therefore, in industrial production and aluminum profile product standards, the "average thickness" and "thickness range" are usually used to describe and control the thickness of the aluminium profile surface film.
